Warranty covers manufacturing defects only, under a tiered term for full-price gold: 5 years for structural defects (faulty construction), 12 months for plating defects (premature/uneven loss under proper care), and 90 days for functional parts (clasps, jump rings, stone settings). *Rings are not physically re-cut — a wrong size is handled as a size exchange within 24 hours of delivery (fresh piece, unworn only) under our Return & Refund Policy. Warranty does not cover tarnishing, plating wear from use or chemical exposure, or accidental damage — see "What's Not Covered" below.
Eligibility
Claim Requirements
Every claim must satisfy the following before it will be reviewed.
- Unboxing video — required for any defect or damage present at delivery. A continuous, uncut video showing the sealed package being opened with the issue visible.
- Dated photos — required for replating or resizing requests. Minimum 3 clear, multi-angle photos in good lighting showing the manufacturing issue.
- Valid Carryallco order number. Must be verifiable in our system and placed directly on carryallco.com.
- Claim raised within the applicable warranty period.
- Piece unaltered and unrepaired by any third party.
Process
How to Make a Claim
Important
Items Under ₹1,000 — No Warranty
Any item with an effective price below ₹1,000 is sold without warranty. This includes pieces brought below ₹1,000 by a bundle, combo, or multi-buy discount.
- ✗ No warranty — no warranty of any length applies
- ✗ No warranty claims — defect, damage, plating, or breakage claims will not be accepted
- ✗ Bundle & combo pieces — if an offer brings the per-piece price below ₹1,000, each piece is treated as a sub-₹1,000 item and is not covered
Coverage is based on the effective price you pay per piece. If a bundle or discount brings a piece below ₹1,000, it is not covered — even if its individual listed price is ₹1,000 or more. For returns, exchanges, and cancellations on these items, see our Return & Refund Policy.
Exclusions
What's Not Covered
- ✗ Loss or theft
- ✗ Tarnishing or plating wear from perfume, lotion, sanitiser, chemicals, saltwater, sweat, daily water contact, or failure to follow care instructions
- ✗ Damage from improper storage
- ✗ Accidental damage, or damage caused by impact, bending, or physical force
- ✗ Normal wear and tear over extended use
- ✗ Pieces repaired, altered, or tampered with by any third party
- ✗ Pieces purchased from third-party resellers or unauthorised channels
- ✗ Claims raised after the warranty period has expired
- ✗ Second or subsequent claims on a piece already serviced under this warranty
- ✗ American Diamond items, and any item with an effective price under ₹1,000 (including bundle / combo pieces brought below ₹1,000)
- ✗ Minor variations in gold tone due to lighting or photography / display settings
- ✗ Microscopic marks from the manufacturing process
- ✗ Unplated or minimally plated concealed contact points created during the PVD coating process that are not visible during normal wear
This warranty is valid exclusively on purchases made directly through carryallco.com. One complimentary claim per physical piece across all coverage categories. Warranty decisions are made at Carryallco's reasonable discretion and do not limit any statutory rights you may hold under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (India). All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India.
Manufacturing Note
PVD Coating — Manufacturing Characteristics
Our jewellery is coated using advanced 18K Gold PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) technology — a vacuum-bonding process that creates a gold layer significantly thicker and more durable than standard electroplating.
During the PVD process, small concealed or non-visible contact points — such as the inner side of jump rings, clasp contact areas, chain connectors, or surfaces used to hold the jewellery during coating — may not receive the same level of plating. These areas are not visible during normal wear and are an inherent characteristic of the PVD manufacturing process. This is an industry-standard characteristic, not a manufacturing defect.
This characteristic does not affect the appearance, durability, or performance of the jewellery and is not considered a manufacturing defect eligible for warranty claims.
