What if I'm between two ring sizes?
Always go for the larger size. A slightly loose ring is easier to wear than one that's too tight, especially in Indian summers when fingers can swell. Alternatively, choose from our adjustable ring collection — no sizing needed.
Which finger should I measure for an engagement ring?
In India, engagement and wedding rings are worn on the ring finger of the left hand. Measure that specific finger as sizes can vary between fingers — even on the same hand. Your dominant hand is usually slightly larger.
Can Carryallco rings be resized?
Our 18K gold-plated Demifine rings and American Diamond rings cannot be resized as resizing would damage the plating. If you're unsure of your size, we recommend choosing an adjustable design. Our 925 Sterling Silver rings can be resized by a local jeweller.
What is the most common ring size for women in India?
Most Indian women wear size 6, 7, or 8 (US equivalent). Size 7 is the most common. If you're ordering as a gift and don't know the exact size, size 7 is the safest guess — or pick an adjustable ring to be sure.
Do Carryallco rings come in half sizes?
Currently we stock whole sizes from 5 to 12. If your measurement falls between two sizes, always choose the larger whole size. Our adjustable styles fit sizes 5–9 with no sizing needed.
How do I convert Indian ring size to US or UK size?
Indian ring sizes are generally the same as US sizes. For UK sizes: Indian 6 = UK L½, Indian 7 = UK N½, Indian 8 = UK P½. Use the full conversion table at the top of this page for all sizes.
